Have we ever met ? I'm knocking on your doors, with my films and some of other filmmakers… Twenty years of peddling which bring me freedom and the complicity of the individual, for the general public at home. The doors open, and with them, an exchange, an opening up to another perspective.

When someone opens the door for me and considers me, I sometimes think I can guess behind his worry, the child, ready to be surprised, who opens and who welcomes. It's like knocking on another house, a reservoir of memories, of ideas and dreams, all things endangered by our consumption of information, spectacular.
Through interviews on the doorsteps, strolls between streets, houses and apartments, but also through the milestones of a poem by Yves Bonnefoy and the news of a distant war, the film guides us to a secret place, in the almost consciousness of a threat.

This documentary essay is like a manifesto for a certain form of poetry. A questioning on our relationship to cinema, to information and spectacular image.

Connect, to the neighbor, relate to poetry as an antidote against misinformation and the numbing of our thinking, keep the citizen's freedom to influence their culture and speak out against the withering away of their imaginary…

Is anybody home?, it's all that too ...
